"Myco" James McConchie is a mycology and psychedelic educator, decriminalization advocate, and founder of the Haight Street Shroom Shop in San Francisco CA. HSSS is the country's first educational workshop space dedicated to mycology and psychedelic education. James also hosts the Psychedelic Coffee Shop, a live forum podcast discussion with industry professionals and community members on the current state of psychedelics. Additionally, James is also a cofounder of decrimSF.org. Which successfully brought forward broad decriminalization/deprioritization language in September 2022 (resolution #220896). A unanimous decision was granted by the San Francisco board of supervisors to decriminalize personal use, cultivation and sharing of entheogenic plants, cacti and fungi in the city of San Francisco.
